Cocktail Recipes:
These are the drinks we plan to make tonight, and we're sharing the recipes here in case you want to make them too! But drink whatever you want – or not at all, if you prefer. It's casual, and there are no rules!
Aperol Spritz
- 2 oz. Aperol
- 3 oz. Prosecco
- 1 oz. club soda
Fill a wine glass with ice and pour ingredients over. Add an orange slice for garnish.
David’s Favorite Manhattan
- 2 oz. Bulleit bourbon
- 1 oz. Tribuno sweet vermouth
- Liberal dashes of chocolate bitters (this can be hard to find, but we usually get it at Binny's)
Place ice in a cocktail shaker. Add the bourbon, vermouth and bitters. Shake it like mean it! Strain the drink into a tumbler. Garnish with 2 marachino cherries.
Mindy’s version: use peach bitters, and add an extra cherry!
Canadian Empress G&T
- 2 oz. Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
- 4 oz. diet Canada Dry tonic
Fill a tumbler with ice and a couple of frozen strawberries, then pour ingredients over. Stir.
Drawing References:
Just for variety, David and Mindy will be drawing different things tonight. Mindy is going to draw the a portrait, while David is going to focus in on an ear study. Feel free to use either of these reference images, or draw whatever you like! To download a picture, just click/tap on it, then save it to your device or drag it to your desktop.
