Description
Drawing Basics is our foundations drawing course, available both on-ground in Chicago and online via our website. The emphasis of the course is on developing a fundamental skill set for drawing anything, starting with simple objects – cube, cylinder and sphere. Some of our online students opt to find their own volumes to draw, but others are looking for a more convenient option. To that end, we've put together a kit containing the same solids we use in the studio, available for purchase.
Each kit contains 2 cubes, 2 cylinders, and 2 spheres, with each object in the pair hand-painted a different value of neutral grey. They're made of solid maple, and have a pleasing weight to them, along with some subtle surface texture that can be fun to draw – once the underlying form has been described adequately first.
