About this Course

The Munsell System is a framework for referencing color, specifying any color with just three variables: hue, value and chroma. It's useful in painting because it allows us to solve color mixing problems by addressing those variables one at a time in a way that is both defensible and repeatable. Munsell frees us from the tyranny of guessing about color.
